Statement of Compliance With COVID-19 Guidance

In order to re-start our sessions we have prepared a COVID-19 risk assessment and agreed to comply with the appropriate COVID-19 guidance. The guidance we are following is issued by Snowsport England, to which we are an affiliated club, and Active Nation who manage the artificial ski slope centre where we run our ski sessions. We will also follow government guidance.

  • January – No ski session this month.
  • February 11th

  • July 14th, followed by Summer BBQ.
  • August 11th
  • September 8th 
  • October 13th, followed by Club AGM.
  • November 10th
  • December 8th, followed by Christmas party

Special Olympics Race Days 2024 

  • Sunday 18th June : North West Race Day – Rossendale
  • Sunday 17th Oct : West Midlands Race Day – Birmingham
  • 26th September : Safeguarding Training – 7pm. This will be via Zoom (approx 1 hour) – no charge for ASD members
  • 14th-15th October : SSCD G3 Disability Ski Awareness Course – Great for anyone new to volunteering
  • 28th-29th October : Snowsport England Instructor Course – A good starting point for those wanting to become instructors, or learn more about teaching skiing
  • 12th November : Hoist Training – Useful for those working with sit-skiers, but all are welcome – no charge for ASD members (approx. 1 hour)
